Dark romance is just a genre of writing. It consists of violence, human falibility, self destruction, judgement, punishment and many more things that are not considered "normal" in our society but there's nothing wrong about being fascinated by a genre. Now, before learning about something we should know it's past.
History of dark romance

Personal opinions about dark romance
Personally I feel like dark romance doesn't romatisize any type of crime or illegal activities. It just provides concept of how few people have some psychological tendencies to commit something that is not considered "normal" in general. Let us take a look in few current authors, H.D.Carlton, Rina Kent, Penelope Douglas, Runyx, etc. These are some famous authors in today's reading generation. These authors write dark romance in a really beautiful method, saying from personal experience. Now obviously these authors get too much hate for their books because few audiences doesn't agree with the author.
I know that these content have absence of light but that doesn't mean you can spread hate to anyone of your choice. Authors do provide content warning also so there's no reason of doing such activities.
Coming to my experience I do enjoy dark romance because this genre shows the reality of world, it shows that everything is not about fairy's or bubbles.
And by this I am not romaticizing any criminal activity. There should be a boundary kept while reading that these books are fictional.
Now, here's the end hope you like my content.
Thankyou
